Syracuse Abroad

REIMAGINING THE WORLD

After a name change and a university rebrand, Syracuse Abroad, the study abroad division of Syracuse University, needed a bold update for its recruitment package. The project’s goals: introduce the new name, reflect the rebrand, and stand out from the sea of travel photography-focused materials of their competition.

The country viewbooks are the heart of the package, which includes 18 print publications produced over seven months. The rebrand’s tone words of impressive, confident, motivated, approachable, and socially aware guided all aspects of the design process.

Syracuse Abroad covers

Joanna’s work on our viewbooks set the standard in our industry for years (and were frequently imitated by our competitors). When faced with an overhaul in university branding and a complete redesign of all of our printed materials, she managed all of the new style requirements and turned out a series of beautiful products that have received praise from all of our diverse audiences.
